An amazing exclusive event in the heart of Little Italy!The Italian Centre is not just a grocery store, it’s a cultural experience...meet up in the brand new Spinelli‘s Bar Italia (www.baritalia.italiancentre.ca) which will be closed to the public for this private event.
At 7 pm, Teresa Spinelli will expertly guide us through the market, explaining the history of The Italian Centre, and the incredible selection of produce, pasta, espresso coffee, imported chocolate, olive oils, bakery goods and so much more (are you hungry yet?).But, the best part will be swinging by the deli for some amazing samples...bring your appetite and learn a few new Italian words to add to your International vocabulary!
Next we will head back to Spinelli‘s Bar Italia for a fun demo where we will learn the art of making Italian coffee, and sample their amazing selection of coffees (think espresso, cappuccino, latte yum!) and incredible desserts!Mamas will be encouraged to mingle and meet, because at Modern Mama that is what we are all about! A great chance to connect with other Mamas and make some new friends.

*Children ages 3-6 are welcome at this event – after the store tour, there will be a special table set up in Spinelli’s Bar Italia with coloring books and kids will learn to make pasta! Please indicate if you will be bringing a child with you of this age group. A Modern Mama Nanny will be available to watch over the kids at the table so you can enjoy this portion of the event. Modern Mama Nanny service is also available for this event for babies ages 0 – 13 months (babies should be pre-walking and in a stroller or carrier/sling).
